Wishful Thinking

As the sun has been shining just a little down here in the Garden of England. I thought I'd share this rather summery little scan I took from a 1973 issue of Petticoat Magazine (cannot remember the exact month, sorry!). Just a little dash of sparkle oh yes and some seriously hot Terry De Havilland wedges. Enjoy!

Update: Forgot to add that the first pair in the top pic are by Biba - looovvely : )

How fabulous are they? Love them!
I picked up a pair of silver "Ravel of Bond Street, London" platforms a couple of weeks ago that look remarkably like the pair at the bottom of the page. xxx

Thanks gals, you can never have too much sparkle or wedge-ness! I forgot to add that there are a pair of Biba's in the top pic too!

Completely gorgeous~I only have sedate plain silver wedge heels in my collection, but now I want to try a diy with glitter and glue! And they are actually pretty comfortable!

oooh wow!!! *drools* those shoes are so magical and faerie-like, yet still totally fashion forward. they're the perfect modern version of dorothy's silver slippers! (in the original "wizard of oz", her slippers were silver, not ruby)
