Best of Etsy - Vintage Platforms

Now I'm not one to follow trends but I haven't failed to notice the abundance of platforms and wedges in the shops at the moment. There are some really fab shoes on offer on the high street, especially in New Look (which I would post if you could have access their images!), but the one thing that really really bugs me is that on the majority of modern shoes the platform curves up at the front, which I think looks kinda weird and personally find really difficult to walk in - I keep feeling like I am going to tip forward! So with this in mind I this weeks Etsy feature is all about platforms of the vintage variety, enjoy!

Love the glitter ones- sadly the wrong size, downside of vintage I guess!

These are stunning! I believe no modern shoe will ever compare to vintage platforms. I also agree that the blue 40s ones are fabulous :)

If they all weren't so tiny!

They are all rather tiny, I guess that's why they haven't sold! Gorgeous tho!

Oh my god... those 1940s ones are... they escape words. If only they didn't cost several weeks worth of my pitiful student paycheck!
