Duffy

I woke up this morning only to see the sad news that Brian Duffy died last Monday.
Duffy, along with David Bailey and Terence Donovan captured the 60s like no one else and he also was produced many iconic advertising campaigns, films and album art. In the late 70s he caused a stir by burning many of his negatives in a bin, of which most were saved when a neighbour objected to the smoke!
The Aladdin Sane cover is one of his most iconic and groundbreaking images. Do yourself a favour have a google and spend some time looking at some of his beautiful work.

The Bowie cover is an amazing piece of work. Love him as you know. Always sad when a great talent passes away, but at least there is plenty to remember him by.

His legacy lives on, iconic. Did you see the TV programme of his life? - I think it was May on the extra BBC channel.
